Canada is a priviledged country - one where we take individual freedoms for granted. Prejudice and bias have not been completely vanquished, and we must be vigilant to ensure that no one perspective comes to dominate the policies and laws that apply to all Canadians. For secular citizens, it is particularly evident that equal treatment and respect for non-religious perspectives has not yet been achieved.
