The 13th International Workshop on Wave Hindcasting and Forecasting and 4th Coastal Hazards Symposium were held in Banff, Alberta, from October 27 - November 1, 2013. Sponsored by Environment Canada’s Climate Research Division, the Program of Energy Research and Development, and the World Meteorological Organization Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission Joint Technical Commission for Oceanography and Marine Meteorology, the workshop was attended by 100 scientists representing government, academia, and industry, from 22 countries. The release of the final assessment on Tetrabromobisphenol A (TBBPA) and two of its derivative substances was announced in the Canada Gazette, Part I...The release of two draft screening assessment reports was announced in the Canada Gazette, Part I. The first assessment is on one Priority A organism (Pseudomonas fluorescens) and the other one is on two Priority C organisms.
